I had gained weight and hit a peak of 97kg. Not a regular gym person and had tried many diets without success. I started training with Nalinda in May 2019. At the beginning I could not hold a plank for 5 seconds and needed a hand to get up from the ab bench.

Nalinda guided me first to improve my cardio fitness level and gradually advanced my workout routines. I learnt to focus on progress rather than perfection and he advised me on my nutrition plan as well. What helped me most was the fact that he was gentle but firm in the way he coached me, so I never felt discouraged or demotivated.

Being overweight had been a persistent issue for me over the years. I never enjoyed sports or being active, and therefore did not have any desire to go to the gym and train. When my weight started to affect my health and confidence, I started training with Nalinda.

At first, he helped me with making sure I attended the gym regularly and kept me accountable, while slowly introducing innovative workouts that kept me engaged. This helped me start burning fat whilst also toning my muscles.

After having my baby I have been struggling to find time to attend gym and work out. Tried a lot of things like joining a running group and a cycling group to ensure a continuous fitness regime. However, nothing managed to get me the results until I started training with Nalinda. I have a very disciplined schedule with him. He is very attentive, understands the requirement and ensures gradual improvement is achieved.

I had initially gained around 10Kg after my marriage and went on for one year without any form of exercise or sports.

It is at this time I decided to join the gym and there I found Nalinda who guided me from the first day.

I found it extremely difficult in the early days as my body had become lethargic without any form of activity for over one year and this made it very difficult to find the motivation to work out.

Nalinda not only designed a programme suitable for my needs and goals he also continuously motivated me to work out for at least 4 days of the week. He was not too hard on me, but was effective in his methods of getting me to work out consistently as this was the key. He progressed slowly but steadily and kept working with me very patiently.

He is also well versed on his knowledge on the science behind fat burn, muscle growth and also on optimum nutrition based on body type and body objective.

Currently I am still working with Nalinda for the past three years and would always recommend him to guide and assist in your desired fitness regime.
